Men's Healthcare in Coppell

One of the challenges facing many men is that they do not see a doctor soon enough when they are having health issues, or often enough when they feel healthy. Life expectancy for men is still lower than that of women and men need to do a better job at prevention in order to close that gap.

Men tend to drink more, smoke more and see a health care provider less often than women. Another factor is that men often pride themselves in working long and hard hours, which can lead to more stress related illnesses.

There are also a few health conditions that only affect men, such as prostate cancer and low testosterone. Many of the major health risks like colon cancer or heart disease can be prevented and treated with early detection. Some of these conditions can lead to Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and other performance issues that detract from the quality of life.

We recommend our male patients have regular exams and talk openly with Dr. Calvert about any issues they are concerned about, no matter how small.
